For the impoverished people of the world, clean water and sanitation are difficult to obtain, practically luxuries. In the slums of Riruta, Kenya, the only place 188 children get clean water and sanitation is at their Children of Hope Mission School that the Center supports. For children and teachers to stay healthy, they must be in an environment with clean water and sanitary bathroom facilities. The septic tanks at the school must be emptied. Every trip costs about $150 and it takes three trips each time to ensure they are cleaned. This happen six times a year so $150 pays for one of the 18 trips required every year. This digital gift represents a real gift used to support those affected and infected with HIV/AIDS in the slums of Riruta.
