$60k in Grants Secured for the Methodist Treatment Centre

This summer, thanks to the generosity of the Moody Foundation and the Rotary Club of Lakewood Foothills, a significant gift from the Center for Health and Hope was directed to the Methodist Treatment Centre in Meru, Kenya. Led by Dr. Catherine Mutua, the Treatment Centre is in the midst of upgrading their ability to serve the community, with the expansion of their campus and purchase of new medical equipment and supplies. By year's end, the Treatment Centre is on pace to receive Level 4B status as a rehabilitation and psychiatric hospital, which will allow the Treatment Centre to receive government and insurance payment and expand their ability to serve.
